 When I moved to Lancaster to study Marketing and Design at Lancaster University. I was terrified, at the time I was a 20 year old girl, who could barely leave the house due to personal difficulties, and now I was moving across the other side of the UK, because it seemed the only way to truly break out of what I was stuck in.  My first months were lonely and difficult, but they became the foundation for everything that followed.
In that time, I discovered how much connection truly matters — because I felt the opposite of it. So I did the only thing I knew how to do: I started sharing my experiences online — the real, unfiltered parts of university life. To my surprise, thousands of others felt the same. Within a year, a community of over 70,000 students had formed around my content, united by a struggle we all thought we were facing alone — only to realise we never were.

That experience changed everything. It encouraged me to reach out more, make new friends, and ultimately discover that university could be one of the most special times of my life. It also showed me that when marketing is done authentically, it can change lives — because it changed mine.
Profit naturally followed, but that’s when I realised something important: when you lead with purpose, profit becomes a by-product, not the goal. I believe deeply in growth, revenue, and financial success — they’re essential for any business. But for me, they mean nothing without integrity, intention, and heart behind them.
Once I saw what was possible, I wanted to take it further. Alongside my degree, I began putting everything I was learning into practice — building business after business, failing countless times, but learning even more each time.
I invested heavily - both financially and emotionally - in understanding how to scale and automate a business without losing its soul. I wanted to see if technology and systems could enhance service rather than replace it - to let structure support connection, not block it.

 Those years of learning, experimenting, and growing led to The Bloom Theory — a philosophy and brand built on the belief that success and sincerity can coexist. It’s proof that when we lead with integrity and heart, we don’t just build businesses — we build something that blooms. This picture is me and one of my clients celebrating her first launch. She came round, I made a cake, and took a moment just to celebrate her and what she had done. I believe that business is about creating meaningful connections and celebrating every milestone.
